Are you looking for a professional internship or an opportunity to write your Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD thesis in collaboration with our Intellectual Property team? In some cases, an internship can also be combined with a thesis, giving you valuable insights into our company and the world of Intellectual Property from day one.
We are looking for a student in Innovation Management with a technical focus or a comparable field of study. Ideally, you are already in an advanced stage of your studies and interested in gaining practical experience in a technology-driven environment.
In this role, you will work closely with our colleagues in the Intellectual Property team and gain insights into strategic, technical and legal topics related to innovation and intellectual property rights.
A particular focus of the internship will be on Patent Harvesting. You will actively support us in identifying and developing potential inventions and patent opportunities within the organization. This requires not only an interest in technology and innovation, but also a proactive mindset and strong communication skills.
Possible thesis topics could include:
- Innovation Management at the interface with Intellectual Property
- Patent Harvesting in technology companies
- Intellectual Property as a Business Enabler
- Trend Monitoring and Patent Analysis for Innovation Processes
- Patent Management as part of modern Innovation Strategies
How you convince us

- Ongoing studies in Innovation Management with a technical focus or a comparable field
- Ideally, you are already at an advanced stage of your studies
- Interest in technology, innovation and Intellectual Property
- A proactive, curious and hands-on personality
- Strong communication skills and confidence in approaching and connecting with different stakeholders
- The ability to work independently, structure topics and actively drive them forward
The internship is intended for students who would like to work with our IP team for at least 4–6 months and 20 hours per week or more.
Ideally, you would join us in January 2027. If there is a mutual fit and we have a positive experience working together, there may also be an opportunity for long-term collaboration after your studies.
Salary
Die Bezahlung richtet sich nach dem Kollektivvertrag für Elektro- und Elektronikindustrie, mit einem monatlichen Bruttogehalt von € 1.572,44.Benefits
