Customs officer (all genders)

Linz, ÖsterreichWhat you achieve with us
- Customs tariff classification and categorisation of goods, as well as assistance with calculating customs duties and charges
- Maintenance of customs-related master data and documentation of customs procedures
- Submission of monthly Intrastat declarations
- Verification and documentation of declarations of origin, and management of long-term supplier’s declarations
- Preparation and verification of customs-related documents (e.g. pro forma invoices, certificates of origin)
- Collaboration with freight forwarders, customs agents and other customs service providers
- Advising internal departments on matters relating to customs and foreign trade law
- Processing customs enquiries and providing support with corrections and requests from authorities
- Contributing to the optimisation of customs and compliance processes, as well as to projects and training programmes
How you convince us
- Completed commercial or logistics training (freight forwarding, foreign trade, industry or similar)
- Initial professional experience in the field of customs, import/export or foreign trade is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of customs and foreign trade law, in particular import and export regulations, customs procedures and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good written and spoken English
- A service-oriented and responsible approach to work
- Experience with customs, logistics or ERP systems

Salary
You can expect an attractive and market-compliant salary. The minimum salary on a full-time basis is EUR 3.800,-- gross per month. Of course, we pay more – depending on your qualifications and professional experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package awaits you.
